Really enjoyed this. We often talk about coding agents as if they're reasoning over an entire codebase, when in reality they're succeeding because code exposes great interfaces for exploration. The idea that agents "localize and inspect" instead of "understand everything" is a much more practical mental model—and one that extends well beyond code into any structured knowledge system.
